Pre-George W. Bush, the American presidency was a position of admiration and, at the very minimum, taken seriously even by the countries that hated America.
Obama restored dignity to the position, but some couldn't handle it, and the stereotype of the 'stupid American' came to the forefront. The country that everyone admired became a full laughingstock by the time Trump was running for office.
Biden and Harris were like a pause; you wouldn't see or hear much from either of them. The country's and its leadership's image is in free fall with the situation in Israel right now.
Trump and his supporters back in power probably do irreparable damage for, at the very least, the rest of our lifetimes. So, yes, it is important for everyone to get out and vote. Like anything else, showing cracks in the armor invites testing, and America has a lot of chickens waiting to come home to roost. China, Russia, India, most of the Middle East are all ass backwards places that with the right/wrong person taking over could want to show that they’re big boys to be taken seriously on the world stage as well.
It's a shame that Biden is who the Dems are running, but Trump's people will keep setting up shyt that seemed impossible not that long ago, like reversing Roe v. Wade and getting rid of affirmative action. And for everyone who won't vote unless reparations come, do you imagine they're coming from the party that won't even allow a black business grant or black scholarship?
As the great Canadian whore/rapper Chromazz once said, 'Are you stupid? Are you dumb?'
