Its not good to brush too much. I brush once in the am and floss after meals. Flossing is important because the chunks of food that stay in your teeth turn into bacteria. Those bacteria ridden chunks then can travel to your heart & poison your arteries. They also cause cavities which left untreated can cause brain damage which may lead to death.
