How many still rockin with Marvel after Endgame?

Thread is status though because the way it's worded you'd think the MCU was dead in the water after "Endgame". Meanwhile out in the real world "Far From Home" did $1.1 billion.

Hey listen, the same people who defend MCU at every turn are the same people who act like Aquaman didn't also do $1.1 billion and Joker didn't do $1.1 billion etc.. I just saw in "The Batman" thread these same guys saying DC is dead lol.

I agree with @obarth that all this stan shyt should be left in 2019. The forum would be better for it.

I know it seems just like a bunch of movies coming out but trust when the overarching story starts taking shape it will be very compelling.

I’m on the edge of my seat for what Feige has in store after already defining the 2010s. He already cemented his spot as a top 5 cinematic mind but this is like Jordan after the first retirement. He still has more to prove.

He's asking if people care. Obviously people will care. Time will tell if people will be as invested in this phase as previous phases. It depends. They don't have Downey and Evans who were beloved in their roles but they have goodwill and they have Feige who has a plan.

shyt like Dr. Strange 2 and Black Panther 2 are no brainers. People will go see them regardless of an overarching story..

Not really, no. I read the thread title, and a few lines from the first post a couple days ago. Got bored today and responded.

I keep telling you cats I don't give a fukk about these movies man. Not really. I seen "Endgame" and "Joker" opening weekend. And shyt....the sole reason I seen "Endgame" when I did, is because somebody copped a ticket for me.

Aside from that, I haven't seen 95% of these movies (DC or Marvel) in theaters.

The next three movies I'm gonna watch are "The Head Hunter" (indie horror), "Little Joe" (indie psychological thriller) and "The Lighthouse". That's the type of shyt I get excited about.

Nothing really interests me in the MCU after Endgame. What could top a villain killing half the universe? There are no stakes that could match. I have zero interest in The Eternals, Shang Chi, Dr. Strange, and Thor. I'll be in for X-Men though because I know Marvel will get them right.

Doom is a much better character than Thanos..so if they do him correctly, they can leave any Avengers story in the dust.

There were some recent game changers that favor marvel

Marvel just acquired the full rights to the hulk and namor.

A legit standalone hulk movie like "world war hulk" could bring me back...they could make that avengers 5...world war hulk


And they should definitely use namor for black panther 2

Could you give me more information on The Hulk? So Marvel finally acquired the distribution rights? Last I’ve checked, Marvel only had the production rights, so they would need permission from Universal to make a Hulk movie. This was similar to Spidey and Sony. Standalone Marvel Hulk movie with Ruffalo would be sick. The Avengers/Thor movies had to increase his popularity, as Hulk is close to Tier 1 now.
