Not counting digital games, about 5

I always resell after I beat the game...its not like I miss them or go back to them often

Thread triggered me to unpack some old games & gaming stuff from the closet. Probably have 100ish retail games including all consoles / pc.

----------------------------

my parents both had an atari, was mostly my dad playing. it still works like normal.

older sister and dad then got a NES, and I grew up watching them play games. watching bowser literally walk through and crush them buildlings in the original sim city

Snake Rattle n Roll is still in my top 5 all time... at the time, being "3D", 2 players, the fun music, very active gameplay...

parents got us a sega genesis, but we only had 4 games. the game not pictured was The Humans, wasn't really my thing at the time. but we rented a load more

Mario Is Missing! taught me so much about geography, and traveling abroad now as an adult I always try to find the landmarks that are nearby that I was introduced to by the game

these are my top 4 SNES games:

Shadowrun was mindblowing. Never played the Sega Genesis one, which was apparently a completely different game. But I put money into the kickstarter, and can't wait for the new one:

sister and I debated upon getting a N64 or a PS1, we actually decided on the N64 but our mom got the PS1, which looking back I'm happy with.
:whoo:

Those SNES boxes were tough to keep in tip top shape and yours look CLEAN. You must have them stacked away neatly somewhere...I was 6-7 when those games came out since I threw all that shyt out and just got to the cartridge.

I sometimes wish I was a collector

yeah we'd keep any maps / manuals in the box & put the box in the closet.

anyone know if systems like NES / SNES / Sega Genesis only work on CRT TVs, or can they be hooked up on like a new LED Samsung smart TV?

The Warriors was such an amazing f*cking game. I mean, the combat was off the hook. So many things u could do. So many weapons and ways to use them.

They should make a new game for the new generation with those kind of mechanics. Maybe not the same game but the same way of combat. Imagine a new Streets Of Rage or something like that with those kind of mechanics. Sh!t would be bananas.

Warriors is a classic, I wish Rockstar would make a spiritual successor or something.
