My collection is up to like 120 games not counting digital copies and individual games in HD collections. many of these games I've never played and a lot of them i probably never will.

some of my more rare gems include:
Black Label Final Fantasy VII (I own every numbered game except III and XI)
Factory sealed Xenogears
Lunar 1 and 2 on PS2

Forreal, I find myself buying games, not finishing them and that's that. :smh: A few games I only played liked 30 minutes too.

I probably have around 30 games this generation. I still keep my games though and never resell them. Still have all my systems and got the games for them (not counting ones that friends never returned or one's that were stolen).

I have about 50 games. Only 2 in rotation. Most of them I bought years ago when I worked at Best Buy, I never resell either.

10-15. Outside of a select few games, I usually only cop the AAA titles then trade it in at GameStop once I beat it or get tired of it.

I wish I didn't sell my SNES and PS collection tho. Had a lot of games that are now considered rare.

At the moment I only have PS3 games. All the other consoles I had I ended up selling all the games for them although I still got a PS2 with a few games at my mama's house but I don't go there often and when I do, I never hooked the PS2 up again.

For PS3 I got 22 right now but out of all of them I only play a couple.

I usually sell games shortly after I buy them... most games have like a 6 month lifespan on my shelf.

There's an exception for games/series I love. For example, I have most of the GTA's, including "Stories From ______", Final Fantasies, Fallout 3 & New Vegas...

Despite that, I probably own around 20 retail copies of games.

Thread triggered me to unpack some old games & gaming stuff from the closet. Probably have 100ish retail games including all consoles / pc.

my parents both had an atari, was mostly my dad playing. it still works like normal.

older sister and dad then got a NES, and I grew up watching them play games. watching bowser literally walk through and crush them buildlings in the original sim city

Snake Rattle n Roll is still in my top 5 all time... at the time, being "3D", 2 players, the fun music, very active gameplay...

parents got us a sega genesis, but we only had 4 games. the game not pictured was The Humans, wasn't really my thing at the time. but we rented a load more

Mario Is Missing! taught me so much about geography, and traveling abroad now as an adult I always try to find the landmarks that are nearby that I was introduced to by the game

these are my top 4 SNES games:

Shadowrun was mindblowing. Never played the Sega Genesis one, which was apparently a completely different game. But I put money into the kickstarter, and can't wait for the new one:

Shadowrun Returns by Harebrained Schemes LLC — Kickstarter

(36,276 Backers, $1,836,447 pledged of $400,000 goal)

sister and I debated upon getting a N64 or a PS1, we actually decided on the N64 but our mom got the PS1, which looking back I'm happy with.

spent hundreds and hundreds of hours on this one:

aside from GTA's & Final Fantasys, didn't play too many games on the PS2. last one I played through fully was San Andreas. College was starting & I didn't have time for gaming :why:

since graduating, I've purchased these, and haven't played a minute of any of them. Only game I've played since getting back into it is starcraft 2 (not pictured but I played a shytload of starcraft & diablo 2 in middle / high school)

bought Heavy Rain, Red Dead Redemption, and L.A. Noir for my sister (who has a PS3 but works out of the country and doesn't play currently either) based on reading about them on here & :hamster:. I'm completely out of the loop in regards to console gaming, but I'm excited about having such a big backlog of games to play someday

^^^^^^

I remember playing the home alone game and it was dope. I never had a Super Nintendo. I had a Sega Genesis but my friend had the Super Nintendo.

NBA Jam was my sh!t too back in the day and the Super Sonic games were some of the best in that console

yeah Home Alone was real fun, it was funny how you jump at a painting & a bouncing slice of pizza comes out

The Warriors was such an amazing f*cking game. I mean, the combat was off the hook. So many things u could do. So many weapons and ways to use them.

They should make a new game for the new generation with those kind of mechanics. Maybe not the same game but the same way of combat. Imagine a new Streets Of Rage or something like that with those kind of mechanics. Sh!t would be bananas.
