It's not ideal, but I wouldn't rule a good guy out for that, especially since he's being a father to his children.
I love kids, so if we ever got close, I know I could be a good role model for them.
Also, I have a step-dad that never treated me any different than he did my little sisters (his kids). That relationship is very important to me.
I would hope that the caliber of man that I choose to date had some sense when previously picking a mate. I've never had to deal with an ex though, so I'm not fully sure...what if the baby moms was still in the picture
