How many of you are finding it more and more difficult to find thread titles worth clicking?

Too much trolling recently. I find it incredible that people whine about the mods and admins on this board when the majority of the threads and shock posts that are allowed to prosper here would result in an IP ban on other forms 99% of the time. Brook and cook have a hell of a community here, but the quality will continue to plummet because guys have no off switch and the staff are actually too hands off, and let too much go.

I don't believe more outside policing is ever the real answer. What we need is stronger ability to police ourselves. some sort of ability that allows thread creator to delete posts in their thread and or block posters in threads are a couple examples of what I'm referring too

I simply put people on ignore. I feel like it is a win-win. The poster happily keeps posting c00n and cac as an answer to everything and I don't ever have to read it.

Mods need to do a better job of enforcing rules.

For example: unrelated hiphop topics shouldn't be in the booth (ex: there shouldn't be a thread for r.kelly there lol) , threads that are made multiple times should be merged(even if days/weeks old), bullshyt threads or bait threads should be in jbo or simply locked, etc.

that obviously would make TOO much sense though...

well, that recently happened.. dudes complained so much a thread about rappers shopping for a bbq was bumped to TLR, it actually got moved back to the Booth.. trolls pretty much run amok in there..
