With all those cases of Chinese and Russian cyber espionage as well real-life espionage and other forms of data intercept, I'm confident those countries have enough intel knowing the capabilities of other countries around the world.

Pretty sure that's why many of these countries pop-off the way they do: they know no single country can stop their nuclear volleys. Especially now with hyper sonics and missiles that can literally go around the world.

Countries who are more offensive-minded and spend more on research have a significant advantage because they're bound to find exploits and new tech the more defensive-minded countries never can predict.

Bottom line, nobody is stopping shyt once the nukes start flying. In this day and age, a single nuke flies and detonates for war usage and that means we're all done. It won't only be nuclear either: chemical weapons get dispatched and the atmosphere will pick those up and start spreading them in the water/wind.

Everyone's modern tech to drop nuclear payloads are too much for modern defenses to handle.

shyt, they were too much decades ago really.

Xi even stated in the mid 2010's they can level the U.K (and really any other country) within minutes of the order given to fire.

It don't get much more destructive than that and the U.S has nuclear strikes they can drop on any country within minutes as well.

When nuclear codes go live it becomes 100% about offense, fukk a defense because that's practically non-existent and trivial when those things are in the air.

shyt, the "four-minute warning" system in the U.K is called that way because they've determined by the time a nuclear missile was detected launched from Russia, the civilians would have about four minutes to find shelter before they come down. That was cold-war tech.

Four-minute warning - Wikipedia
The name derived from the approximate length of time from the point at which a Soviet nuclear missile attack against the United Kingdom could be confirmed and the impact of those missiles on their targets. The population was to be notified by means of air raid sirens, television and radio, and urged to seek cover immediately. In practice, the warning would have been more likely three minutes or less.

Additionally, another video to show how fukked up it'd be and what little chance there'd be of avoiding total annihilation for the two countries engaging in a nuclear war.

In this case what a nuclear war between the U.S and Russia would look like. Including many factors such as decoy sites, nuclear subs, defensive measures (basically NOPE), etc. Keep in mind, barebones ICBM's, not even including hypersonic tech:

Basically, even including the nukes we shoot down: the United States gets covered coast to coast in nuclear blasts. Major cities annihilated, farm belt wiped out, bases destroyed, etc. Russia would also be leveled. That's accounting for if the U.S hits Russia with nukes first too.
