How did the interview turn out, you got a gig?VICE has some black people working for them. I went there for an interview a couple months back. They're obviously not the majority.
Their offices are majority white. Like damn near every corporate office place in America. There's a couple black writers. One is named Khal and the other is named Frazier Tharpe also there's a on camera personality who guys by Jersey Jinx.
They have people of every race there it's just that it's not as black as you'd think a Hip Hop based site would be.

Good to see more black voices in media. Do you have anything you wrote we can read? Were you the dude who had this article in a big publication? The interview was fine. It was with an old co-worker. But I did not get it. Another mutual friend(female African American) was given the position.

What's the gig you applied for? Are you still trying to pursue it with another company? The interview was fine. It was with an old co-worker. But I did not get it. Another mutual friend(female African American) was given the position.

Technical. Writing. In front of a camera. What matters most is that you're in there and you're doing your thing man!I'm on the technical side of things. I should have been more clear.
Didn't know where else to post this but this is why it's important for black people to have jobs at these places, for an eventual big move like this.
SMFH.
fukk Def Jam
White people just taking control of everything remotely "Black" and "urban" in media/entertainment it seems like. I doubt a black person in this climate could EVER get that position. That shyt got me HOT!
Do they EVER employ black people in these positions?
Dude jumped from a top executive spot at Complex to another one at Def Jam, like it's nothing
shyt makes no sense
