If I buy a large AAA game I'll know whether I'll stick with it after about 10-15 hours. If I'm trying something on PS+/Gamepass it could be as little as 30 minutes, but in those scenarios you're kinda just trying random shyt vs doing a ton of research on a game before buying

honestly getting physicals off Amazon with their return policy is super clutch. You get like at least a month to return it so you always have that option if you want to try a game on sale and end up not liking it

I think the last game I truly dropped was Nioh after like 20 hours - I got tired of sweating.

But that was like 7 years ago, I appreciate Souls/Soulslikes alot more now post-Elden Ring. I'll revisit eventually.

Outside of that, if I'm confident enough to buy it, I'm seeing it through 99% of the time.

after about two hours, I know if I like it or not

I was playing remnant and as Im playing it and I felt my mood getting worse

someone here said it before, and its true; there isn't a reason to play mediocre games

I played remnant 2, the one everyone was going crazy about for like two hours maybe. I never wanted to play it again after that

the older yo get the more you just have to trust your own instincts on games
