dope video but personally I'm not taking anything less than 18k, especially not with no diamonds on it.

i need at minimum, 22k, and if i get something gaudy with diamonds, they need to be vvs. 14k with diamonds is fake it till you make it bushes shyt.
Higher purity gold is more malleable which leaves you with a higher chance to drop a stone. I mean you shouldn't be hooping in a bussdown anyway but shyt happens. 14k is a nice middle unless you just got it like that

factz...fam Jay-Z used to rock a 10K cuban link so it's really all about the "why", if it's an investment piece (aka you sell dope and wanna hide your cash, yeah go 18k-24k and add quarter carat diamonds at least in VS1-F quality. they will always retain their value) now if you want something to wear everyday and your active, go 14K-18K, if 18K make sure it's thick with thick prongs/setting to hold any jewel.

also, diamonds aren't necessarily the most valuable stone you can use, rubies and sapphires can be pretty valuable depending on clarity and color saturation/hue.

What's the value difference between lab and natural sapphires?

lab ain't worth shyt, only valuable lab created stones are diamonds and they are 20-40% less costly than earth-made/naturally occurring diamonds, however they are indistinguishable from a molecular standpoint. only difference is in the refraction of light frfr.

only time i'd use a man-made sapphire is if i were sculpting imagery onto it. Wouldn't use a natural stone for that due to the number of inclusions and how that may destroy a carving. with the man-made sapphire you can carve into it without too much issue because yeeen really pay shyt for it lol.

Was gonna ask you about that but this pretty much answered it for me. Getting a moissanite over a natural seems like a no brainer for the consumer.

I assumed yall were putting those into the "VVS" type pieces since they both shine the same. I would if I were in that business :yeshrug: T-Pain said most of his pieces were moissanite

moissanite isn't the same as a lab created diamond. they are different jewels.

nah you're better off if you're going the moissanite route to just get lab created diamonds, and again lab created diamonds are not moissanites.

think of natural diamonds as

glacier ice

and lab created diamonds as ice you'd make in your refrigerator,

moissanites are salt,

not ice of any kind.

get it? got it? good!
