How is M. Night Shyamalan still getting financiers?????

His movies are still profitable, that's why. Sure he gets raked over the coals by critics and audiences too but they still go see his films in big enough numbers to make money.

As long as that happens, he's gonna keep getting financing.

Yep, his last three directed movies were all terrible but they made back at least double the budget worlwide. Even Devil made twice as much what it cost and he only wrote that one.

He wrote that but didn't direct it. Devil shows that he comes up with good concepts he just has a hard time executing them without fukking things up more iften than not.
He should stick to that and give directing a rest for a while.
