Never saw How I Met Your Mother. Duff and the roommate Hispanic girl are eye candy and the laughs were frequent enough to continue watching. 7/10 for the first episode on a full 1-10 scale.

I'll support it for Duff alone. I feel like she's good in it but this seems like a show that's going to be lucky to make it more than a single season. it has the charm of the original. it didnt feel sold on the actors at first but they've all grown on me. i do wish the first season was longer but i get it.

I watched the original HIMYM and this one doesn't feel like it's it, at all. Damn, Barney was toxic but he was extraordinary. There's no extraordinaries amongst this group, they're all pretty basic.
