Honestly America isnt the gold standard of cleanliness I thought it was before I started traveling....most countries got the US beat due to Cacsthey single handily bring down American hygiene standard ....cacs are one of the most unhygienic people on earth. Most minorities have a higher level of cleanliness than cacs. I lived collocated with cacs on plenty of military bases and they are way dirtier and nastier than your average minority...

I remember in school my eyes were first opened when I heard that White people basically learned to bathe from the Native Americans. Europeans were bathing something like once a week, or when it got cold maybe one time in the entire winter. Whereas Native Americans were bathing every day. It wasn't until colonizers settled in the Americas that they increased their bathing habits.

Low-key that was one of the reasons that the White people wiped out the natives. Since white people were so unclean and lived in such crowded conditions in nasty cities full of rats and shyt, disease was rampant in medieval Europe. Whereas Native Americans had clean lives and low population density in healthy rural lifestyles and thus had few diseases. They were totally unprepared for all the disease that the White people brought and spread among them.

I've had the same experience traveling that you have. Most non-White cultures are very obsessed with personal cleanliness, and do everything they can afford.
