They still have some growing to do, but in terms of the wrestling, it's way better than WWE because WWE has the same match structure in all their matches, no matter if it's cruiserweights, heavyweight, etc.

In terms of the talent, I would say it's about equal, but the first point I mentioned allows AEW's good people to really show off, where-as in WWE some guys are clearly hindered in ring by the preset match structure. Really no psychology.....

As for storylines, you can see they are trying new things and new ways to spice up their feuds. I would give them the slight edge only because AEW storylines make sense, and WWE ones don't more often than not.

The production is below WWE for sure, but the best we've seen since WCW, same goes with the crowds. And those 2 elements are definitely a part of enjoying wrestling in my books.

I thought this week's show was the lightest so far, but for the most part I enjoy it.

Lot of WCW influence. Last episode kind of found its footing in terms of balancing the elements. Good energy with the crowds (perhaps the most underrated aspect of a good show).

I don't think it's a better show than NXT from an in-ring quality standpoint (in terms of the American wrestling I check for, nothing is on the level NXT has been on since going live), but AEW's main thing is that for the most part, it avoids the stupid decision-making/storyline/booking moves that have plagued WWE's main two shows (RAW and SDL).

The best way to describe it IMO is that it is a refreshing alternative to the status quo. Not necessarily better, but it's refreshing. They're a prime example as to how simple done well wins ball games as opposed to half-assing or bumbling something extraordinary.

Kind of a mix of prime WCW and TNA's glory years. There is definitely more emphasis on wrestling than WWE. It's worth checking out.
Agreed. They are slowly doing more storylines and show gets better every week IMO. I went to the show in Philly and it was great. All ready building a cult following.
