There was rumors before it dropped saying it was the original venom origin script, the writers denied it though. Then Sony used b roll from Spider-Man 3 in the life trailer.

The trailer looks like some supernatural psychic powers shyt. i felt like if venom was in the movie, they would’ve used it.

I can’t think of any teaser based off any comic book where they didn’t atleast show the costume.
