How good do you think Venom will do at the box office?

I don't care what anyone says. Venom is boring when you strip him from the Marvel Universe and put him alone. His interactions with heroes and villains are what makes him interesting.

Also Tom Hardy wont have much to do with how they bring "Venom" to life. He may be a good Eddie Brock but Eddie Brock has always been a dull character so I'm not sure what he can actually bring to the role.

I don't think it'll do well. Whoever Sony hired to do the teaser did a terrible job. Granted it is only a teaser, but it made the movie look generic as fukk...if not for the obvious venom logo at the end, the movie could practically be any sci-fi film.

Hes out in space right now with the time displaced X-Men.
Hes surprisingly a really good leader.

I thought it was gonna do well till I recently heard that Venom is only gonna be in the movie for 5 mins of screen time. If that’s true and once that officially get out..... it may not be a good look.

But if they can clear $500M, per the coli rules that’s a success

At the moment is has 0 buzz and I see a LOT of MCU fans skipping it in effort to see him brought back into the MCU fold (or at the very least to tell Sony to give it up).

Looks like it may disapoint. Unless the next trailer shows some wild shyt this movie will not do well, it's not like Tom Hardy is guaranteed bank either. We shall see in the coming months what kind of movie we will be getting.
