I swear Paulie was the weirdest character out of them all.

-Damn near OCD with his personal hygiene
-Insanely jealous of all anyone he perceived to have an advantage over him
-Had this strange relationship with old women, especially his mother (remember when he killed the old woman? :laff:)
-Viewed Tony as a father figure, even though he was probably two decades older than him.
-Had no children, and had to rely on prostitutes in order to get his nut off :heh:
-Though not spiritual, was a beacon for supernatural occurrences (the cat, when he saw mother mary :laff:)
-And lets not forget that annoying laugh that Tony thought was a sign of tourettes :laff:

He may be the most well written character in the entire show :mindblown:

The way that show deconstructed his character from season to season was pretty brilliant.

He started out as just a hardened criminal but the more you learned about him and the more they peeled back the layers the more you saw how fragile he really was.

Plus I don't think I ever laughed harder than....

Father Phil: Hey you're a friend of Tony's... how's he doing?

Paulie: HE'S IN A LOT BETTER SHAPE THAN THOSE fukkIN NUNS YOU GOT UP THERE!!!!

:laff: If you think about it, Paulie was always about doing the right thing. He wanted fairness and civility for the people around him, and he was all about the old school. I swear the funniest Paulie scene in the entire show is the time Tony, Chrissy, Bobby and him were sitting at the table talking about Vito Jr having to be placed in that boot camp.

Tony: "It isn't right...Vito was one of us :ld: So he sucked a cock :manny:, prior to that he was our friend, can't just cut his family loose :ehh:"

Paulie: *looks at Christopher* :wtf: :dahell: :dahell:
I was just always amazed at how broke that dude was. He'd get a 20 rack score in one scene, then be crying poor in the next. :dead:

LOL yeah. Plus, there were many times when Paulie collected and kicked up the least amount of cash out of all the capos. Tony and SIlvio would check him on it, and Paulie would be on some :comeon: and?
Pauly seeing Jesus @ the Bing... HILARIOUS

Man when he saw the Virgin Mary in the bing I laughed so hard. I lowkey think that was a symbol that meant Paulie would be spared during the war with Phil.
