I mean...it is a Hip Hop movie...
I didn't not like the movie when I saw it.
The battle raps were entertaining enough.
But for some reason I don't think we care about it.
Paid in Full is somehow more beloved in the community.

Overated the film corny just like the 50 cent one but the battle scene was cool
Good promotional tool had everybody thinking he lyrical monster and crazy battle rapper but fast forward he freestyling about giving guys wet willies and wedges

Redman pretty much made it known that all music used in the movie got a lot of hip hop artists big ass checks because of it.
For that alone (plus the battle scenes) to me make it a staple in our overall hip hop movie culture.

The movie was ok. I like the battle scene. Eminem won the 1st round but he lost against Lotto and it wasn't even close. Whoever directed the movie should made Eminem redo his verse because you can't have the star of the movie getting killed in the battle in the 2nd round. I rewinded Lotto verse back so many time I probably knew most of it by hard.
