How does Dominos, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, etc stay in business in NYC?

I'm sure thats readily identifiable by whether or not chain restaurants are located by tourist attractions. I can't imagine someone seriously going to experience NYC and ordering from a chain.

The mom and pop locations are much more tailored for tourists. You can order a slice or two, enjoy it, and be back on the street in the same amount of time it would take to order an entire pizza, wait for it to cook, and then what... go to your hotel??? FUKK THAT :camby:

Bruh, y’all gotta lay off the snobbery. The average person doesn’t care. They’re just hungry. I’m from right outside of Philly and have been to NYC innumerable times. Sometimes I go to Sbarros, Dominos or whatever chain I’m by if I’m hungry. If I’m in a quieter neighborhood, I’ll go to a mom and pop shop. I like Front Street Pizza in Dumbo for example. Point is, these businesses stay open because people are going there and I know just off common sense that the Chain restaurants that are deep in Brooklyn and Queens are not being visited by tourists. Tourists are staying close to Manhattan, not out in Far Rock or East New York.

I didn't say anything about choosing one over the other. I like both for separate reasons
When you eat at Taco Bell in Thad moment you’re choosing it above all other options. That’s who’s getting your money. I’m not even criticizing if you like Taco Bell

What snobbery? :what: I lived in Philly for 14 years so okay, I get where you're coming from but somebody coming all the way from the South or west coast is not checking for no Dominos or Pizza Hut. They want authenticity. That was my only point, that tourists aren't keeping them in business. It ain't that deep for a local or someone that close and that's fine.

They are breh. I legit went to Sbarros my first time in Times Square :dead: The average cac from Kansas is going right there. Maybe on subsequent trips or if they’re staying for multiple days they’ll venture out into NYC to experience the whole city and different food offerings.
