Envy's pops is a pig. Envy grew up in a nice area in Queens. He is the typical suburban cornball nikka that was fascinated by street life. :rudy:I have family members like that. They grew up in Long Island but go party in Brooklyn or Queens and mix up with scammers, dealers and other street nikkas and live through them. :stopitslime:And they sell weed acting like they Pablo Escobar meanwhile they parents are doctors, nurses and lawyers. :mjlol:

Hate to say it to you, but people want to culturalize dysfunction, and call pride it as a badge of honor. :ld:

From what your saying it sounds as if nowadays its best to just do djing for family or friends of your family and have a set pay rate for that. But in situations like that you would have to have a big extended family or have alot of family get togethers. Basically sticking to your neighborhood like djing for a relative's kids and their friends l or something.

Nah that's baby money. If you're doing graduations, bbqs and family parties you're not going to make but a couple of hundred bucks.......just like you would if you were a club DJ with no real name or following.

If you're a wedding DJ you can make decent money because people pay out the ass for weddings. Average wedding cost is like 30,000 so obviously if you're djing one you're going to get a nice check.

If you want real money learn how to produce hit records. That's when the real checks start rolling in because you have something to sell yourself on. Metro Booming produced all those Future hits. He's started doing festivals and shyt and I know he's caking. Same with DJ Mustard. Since everyone is a DJ now, unless you become famous for something else (producing, radio, tv) there's really no good way to build your name to make people really want to see you or pay you huge checks. Basically get in the studio and try your best to make hits consistently.

If he's smart he's saving his money, sitting on it, and collecting interest.

You make it sound simple, but most people lose money investing. That's a wealthy class game where they tip each other off.
:gucci: please tell me you're trolling.

Typical jealous African. If Envy was white, you wouldn't say shyt negative about him.
chill he was just referencing a quote from that interview....

Investing in ventures is like putting seed money into a business. Be it your boy's sneaker store or a drink company like Vitamin Water.

Investing in the market is a portfolio of stocks and bonds.
exactly you gotta diverse your stocks, then you statistically can't lose.
Because if even if only 3/10 of your investments are profitable you still win,....

Nikka seems to me to be the only radio dj anywhere that looks to be caking.... so what's up this nikka brehs??

I mean even angela yee and char don't even got none of that

AND YES I'M POCKET WATCHING & GOSSIPING IF YOU GOT PROB LEAVE THE THREAD NOW!!! :dame:
lets say he gets 1k a night to dj... 2 nights a week is 8k a month alone... 96k a year

and i'm sure he's doing more than 2 nights a week and definitely more than 1k a night

then you have the radio job on top of that, which is #1 in his city and syndicated as well

plus he said on the show a few times that he has a lot of money invested as well

you don't have to be a millionaire to live like that... you just gotta be able to pay your bills cause you not buying it all in cash

He's arguably (again, arguably and DJ Khaled isn't a real DJ anymore) the most famous DJ in the game strictly off the strength of TBC. He's definitely the most visible. I have no doubt his fee is astronomical.
