so long as it is a topic of discussion I dont see a good reason why writers shouldn't explore the subject. it might even encourage ppl to think differently about it and alter some perceptions.

my take is its all about context, if its so "normal" why cant there just be a character that is gay but we never see his bedroom antics or relationships? why is it such characters arent legit gays until we see the imagery which they know is largely provocative.Its that xtra effort to make ppl comfortable with that that doesnt sit well with me. I don't like seeing it tbh. Especially when it's forces and clearly agenda driven ala LOK. But if it's neccessary for the plot and not over the top I can tolerate it. Graphically gay sh1t for no reason gets me heated. I had to stop watching Scandal cause of some gratuitous homo garbage .
