Polo with jeans and air Max is just a lazy fit honestly and part of the thinking is most likely in line with the fact that nikkas get lazy about fashion choices by around 28. Nikka dressed like an og barber:mjlol:

It's the post 2010s version of the semi baggy button up with the loose fit jeans default outfits nikkas used to gravitate too once they stopped caring about looking fashionable

Damn some of y'all really don't know what to wear.

Well it's fall season so there's less pressure and u can always layer
1. Make sure it fits you well (this is half the look)
2. get staple pieces: bomber jackets, signature long jackets, good boots, low all white sneakers
3. match your tones and colors in similarity

some basic inspo so u dont look like most 30+ guys that wear polos and jeans all the time

Nah breh.

Nothing is wrong with these fits but you're gonna look like dang near every other guy with them on if you're just copying spreads.

Every man has to find his own style and make peace with it.

Like me, I love anything with a fur ruff. Anything with that added in puts a bestial twist on it.

So all my coats, leather, parka or otherwise almost all have that kinda visible lining.

Chelsea boots are fine but heads rock em like Forces were rocked back in the early 2000s.
Brogue stitched boots is more my thing for the past few years(Uggs had some fire ones) and I add stitched driving gloves in there too, deerskin or leather, never the fabric ones personally.

Find your own comfort zones and go from there.

The funny thing is that's always been my style, that is my comfort zone
I never had the air force ones. Pops got me the 12s jordans in white and light blue, I wore them like 10 times max lol

I'm more preppy but I guess that's basic now lol
I still feel like I stand out because most people still wear polos and jeans

Im not an old head yet, but i dont think thats a bad fit. The shoes is where he messed up. They make the whole thing look tacky. He just needed brown loafers or congac ones.:hubie:

Alternatively, a darker blazer in exchange for the jacket wouldve worked to make it more formal with those shoes.:hubie:

Were your shirt and pants fitted or oversized? Being a long time wearer of air maxes 95/97's, I've begun to branch out to more lighter looking casual/running shoes. For shirts, I've been building up my collection of henleys lately. Yeah, I'm not black and over 40, nor particularly fashion forward lol, but the outfit in the op sounds like something that I eventually grew my current wardrobe from.

Man, if you were fly dresser when you were younger then it should transition to older age. You will always be in tune with what is no longer working for you. It’s really not about a certain clothing option than it’s about what style fit your aesthetic. You have to know how to put it together and make sure that suits your personality. If you were jot a fly dude growing up then it’s going to be trial and error because you never took the time to find your style. Following other people style will always be a fail.

I'd change the 95's for 270's or Jordan 3's. But that's just my taste in sneakers. In essence, dress the way you feel like and fukk what others have to say :yeshrug:

I buy a lot of my clothes from banana republic or JCrew. They're the jeans that you can wear in a regular day to day or if you need to dress up. Other than that it's graphic tees usually or sweats. But just wear what makes you comfortable. That's what most people do unless you're trying to dress in designer
