The only real difference between the two is, Turner was enslaved so he literally had no choice; violence was the only realistic response. That wasn't the case with Micah Johnson. Economic boycotts are the best option. They did what they had to do back then but today we have a lot more power than a few dozen hopeless slaves. We have enough money and education to take our dignity back with cunning...not nonconstructive, emotionally-driven violence.
Don't get it twisted if catching bodies is what we HAVE to do, by all means do it. But catching bodies just to catch bodies is not a good idea. There should be an objective in mind, not just 'they killed us, let's kill them to show them we're angry'...blacks to this day don't even know what actual laws they want passed, so you killing for what?
