When I was younger I used to get my steak Medium-Well. Then one day they messed up and gave me a steak that was cooked Medium-Rare. I had already cut a piece and ate it and said, this is the juiciest steak I have ever had. Then the waitress came back and said that she had served me the wrong steak and the one I had ate was Medium-Rare. I told her don't worry about it and I enjoyed that steak and never looked back. I tell people all the time, just a little salt and pepper to taste. If you have to get steak sauce then that steak is cooked all wrong.

I used to do well done until I ate at a few nice steakhouses. They give you the when you ask for well done. Now I ask for medium but it usually comes out medium rare. Either way is good for me.
