This message board is great, However, taking in information, how do you keep yourself properly informed, and keep yourself shielded from bullshyt?

For clarity: local radio is helpful. I tend to stay away from national media because there is a clear bias. Social media is great for on the ground breaking news, but shyt for larger policy discourse.

But for everyday “pop culture” and general conversation about men and women (some of you muthafukkas), this place is the shyt.

Get information
Or
Process information?

two different things.

Honestly, I get a lot of my information from here and if it’s something that I want to look further into, I check out CNN or MSNBC (for “real news”) or whatever other outlet.

The Coli “breaks” a lot of news for me becuse I’m on here often :yeshrug:

The stuff I’m interested in I research to the point I get too deep in the rabbit hole and have to back away. I tried to see all 3 sides. I’ll start at national media and work my way down to the crevices if Twitter or Reddit.
