How do you guys find energy in a cutting diet?

Am I doing something wrong.

I will eat 2 slices of double fiber bread in the morning, and for the rest of the day I will only eat chicken and vegies. I am 5'9 180lbs and I think I am consuming less than 2000 cals a day, but I haven't really been keeping track.

I usually workout around 8 or 9pm after I get off work.

I can't even go past seven reps putting up my normal weight. I have almost no energy. Is it mental?

I don't take any prework-outs. would that stuff help?

I would cut out the bread and get your fiber from flaxseed and non-starchy sources. I would also consume 1500 cals and work out 3-7 times a week.

No, I keep my calories below 1600. Download myfitnesspal and track your calories.

As far as your question, are you getting enough sleep? Also I find it helps to work out depending on whether you're a morning or night person. I'm a morning person so I have the energy to workout early as opposed to later in the day when I'm tired from work and class and just feel like plopping into bed. Caffeine and B12 could help, as well.

water (even if you think ur taking in a lot drink more)

And SLEEP. It's more about what you can recover from than what your doing, you might not be giving your body the things it needs to bounce back and keep going in that state.

i only eat like 500 calories a day. its called having no job and no money. i get 1 meal a day. my body is in starvation mode 24/7. i have to box with zero energy. and i still manage to get my 5 miles roadwork in and daily workouts. as well as being in the gym sparring every day.

and do you know how hard i have to work out cus when you starving your body eats away at muscle. my body fat is ridiculously low.

You either don't have a clue how many calories you actually take in or you're lying, there is no splitting hairs here. A sub 800 calorie diet is defined as dangerous with a laundry list of health problems and could lead to death, that is without working out. You'd be burning 2000+ more calories per day just from normal activities like sitting or walking around than you take in and losing a pound every other day :stopitslime:

Holocaust prisoners got around 400-500 cals a day, and they weren't jogging 5 miles a day or doing so called ring work. Keep the :duck: to other parts of the forum bruv.

You'd be dead if you were jogging 5 miles, sparring and only eating 500 cals a day, it's not even remotely possible.

Again, Holocaust survivors got that amount and they looked like this -
