I don't know about the UK, but here they have a place where you can go and they have people there to help you on your resume. they have all the job postings in the city and near by cities who are hiring, applications, sites where you can go to fill out applications all the help in the world.

I went down there two weeks ago and filled out 10 applications and already got the job at a new job making $3 more and full time then my last lame job

nah, it's a nice office place with computers and shyt. You don't have to leave the house to pick up unemployment anymore, it's all done online. You think someone is going to knock on your door and say they are hiring???

we only get unemployment if we prove we are actively looking for work. so we have to fill in a jobseekers sheet they give us every 2 weeks. i used to just cheat and do it the night before and hope for the best

Yeah they do the same thing here, they don't check, you just write something down but you can do it all online.
