How do you calculate calories to gain weight?

Yeah you gotta eat often and eat dense foods like rice, oats, potatoes, healthy fats like nuts and aim for 3,000 on workout days and 2500 on non workout days...and if you want junk just eat it

UPDATE

I kept the same path of 2,400-2,600. Jumped on the scale this morning right when I woke up, I'm 131 pounds. I guess it just took a few days for my body to process it
how tall are you to be only 130lb?

You probably have a specific hormonal disease if you are 5'7+ and that weight. So all these calorie/training will have much less effect.

5'9 might be 5'8

That isn't it, my intake was around 1,500 when I started counting, I thought I was taking more like most skinny dudes. I think my body is just use to being skinny

your stats don't look normal at all dude. 31 y/o, 130lb and 5'9, especially if youre eating 2500 cals. Those are the stats of a long distance runner like Mo Farah doing way more endurance work. you almost definitely have some endocrine ish going on.

Given you have already put on 20lbs you are not going to gain much more, that is already 15% increase in body weight, which is a lot. You're not going to get to 150 easily.

if i were you i'd make a huge peanut butter smoothie in the mornings and just sip it all day.
