A lot of the heavy hitters I've played HS ball with would wrestle in the winter and discus/shot/jav during spring track.

You didn't wanna see them in nutcracker drills :wow:

i only wrestled for 2 seasons, I just never pursued anything else :patrice:

they lift 5+ times a week thats why. some are on that there cycle tho

Off season lifting mon-fri almost twice a day

In season mon-sat in the higher rep range

Power cleans squats and deads :ohlawd:

Not worrying about "mirror muscles" or overtraining = secret to success

I read up about 5% of cats who play HS football, roid up...

I knew cats at my hs who used steroids and but none them even looked like it,

stats can be misleading sometimes as well...

We went mon-fri. Monday upper body Tuesday lower Wednesday circuit training Thursday upper Friday lower.

A upper body workout would be:
bench/bent over row
Incline/some weird shyt where you would get a 45 plate in a athletic stance and fire your arms out like you were blocking (burns your chest and shoulders like crazy)
Overhead press/ neck harness
Power cleans

Reps would be 10 8 6 6 4
3 men to a group only time you rest was when you were spotting

:wtf: damn breh did you go to my school or they just got us all on same routine. I know all the couches go to combines where they learn this ahit from the college so not surprising half the country on the same routine

Peptites, hgh and other roids are very common in HS than many would like to admit. They need to test these kids regularly. They did that here and so many of them were exposed. Yeah, testesterone levels might be near peak levels but very few of them have the power to control their diets given that they live at home.

Some just don't have the patience to wait for muscles to develop natutrally - they want to look like the gladiator athletes on their favourite team as soon as possible.
