internet came around during the timeframe between the 70's and 80's, it didn't become the "public internet" until mid to late 80's early 90's.

DARPA created the internet to connect computers for government bodies and scientific research agencies. :manny:

LOL didn't that nikka @Art Barr say he created the Internet.

bosko aka talkbox king. he's regularly on e-40 albums, been on the last 3 big boi albums, he did it on kanye's workout plan, which in turn hit sampled on j cole's workout.

He's good, but the talk box master of the west without a doubt is fingazz, how many people do you know who can do rock with you on ALL instruments ? :ohhh:
Fingazz the goat :banderas:

If you had any doubt, another reminder why not even Bos can fukk with fingazz

On a whole other level, multi tracked everything :whoo:

Song came out 86/87 right?

The concepts in the song were already around in the mainstream if only in sci-fi form. I mean anyone that seen Star Trek or the OG Tron at that point coulda written that song. I love that song though.

:dahell:

you cant be serious. the first computer was made in the 40's :patrice:

If you're so smart then tell us what tf he was talking about in the song :jbhmm:

Lyrics talk about seeing a girl on a computer screen and wanting making love to her. Could be as simple as seeing a picture of a beautiful girl on a computer screen. Or talking about how there were computer dating networks back in the 80s

Gary Robinson - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gary Robinson, Software Engineer

In the 1980s, Robinson worked on an entrepreneurial start-up dating service called 212-Romance which used similar computer algorithms to match singles romantically.[21] The New York City-based voice mail dating service created community-based automated recommendations and used collaborative filtering technologies which Robinson developed further in other capacities

Modernized Computers were created in the mid 70s. Old style computers were made even pre dating the 1940s. The internet has nothing to to with when computers were made :dead:

:scust: @ the ignorance

computers existed before the internet brehs

internet came around during the timeframe between the 70's and 80's, it didn't become the "public internet" until mid to late 80's early 90's.

DARPA created the internet to connect computers for government bodies and scientific research agencies. :manny:

Computer match making has been around since the sixties so it is plausible that they were in fact speaking of online match making

:stopitslime:

OP's point is that dudes weren't getting nudes and hooking up with strangers when Computer Love came out. These dudes were on their knees, hands clasped together, singing their hearts out thanking their technology. Question is, what were they so thankful for?

Is this a case of you weren't there you shouldn't speak on it?

'...and then I knew her love was true cuz sex machines don't cry...'

'...where is my love life? Where can it be? There must be something wrong with the machinery...'

No wizardry, just futurism.
