How Did TSC Feel About Stone Cold's 2001 Heel Run?

I’m of the opinion that the Hardyz should’ve been temporarily elevated from TV feud to PPV level

Was just about to post this. I'm hazy with the details, but weren't they still extremely popular in early 2001, especially Jeff? I think the WWF had shuffled the Hardyz down the card for some reason, while HHH/Austin were feuding with Taker/Kane.

The Hardyz functioned as The Two Man Power Trip’s tv rivalry to get heat for their feud with the Brothers of Destruction heading into the PPV, because I’m assuming prevailing logic was we can’t have them look weak heading into the show. The Hardyz feud was fresher than the stale main events those guys had but this was also the start of the WWF’s creative decline so

It was good before the InVasion but him joining WCW felt like they were just trying to go for shock value b/c they didn't have enough big names from WCW yet (Goldberg, Hogan, Steiner, Nash etc) and it got repetitive and weird
