I can understand the dilemma of being different. My mom is biracial (50/50 black cac) and my dad is black (mostly African blood with trace cac/Indian). My mom was SUPER light and my dad is light skin too so when I came out I damn near looked white :francis:

Growing up in elementary nikkas would always try to tell me I'm not black. But see my 4th grade teacher had us watching Roots, amistad, all kinda shyt on top of history books written by real nikkas that let me know early on wassup. Needless to say I turned into lil Malcolm after all that conditioning and I was ready to scrap when the bullies came to tell me what I am:stopitslime:

Took a whole lotta Ls getting jumped but nikkas was getting that work with the fair ones.

Point is I understand why some people just be like fukk it then when your own people don't accept you it starts to build abandonment issues. Not for me though cuz it was so much bullshyt in my childhood for as far back as I remember and I remember my people just telling me how hard life is and will continue to be for the rest of my life ( nikka I was like six the first time I remember hearing this :mjcry:) so I was like fukk it. Cacs damn sure ain't finna accept me and ignorant nikkas can't strip me from what's rightfully mine (black heritage) so I'm letting it be known I'm not tolerating any disrespect on that front.

It went from "p*ssy ass white boy you ain't black :pacspit:"

to "man let that nikka be what he wanna be :merchant:"

Thinkin back the hoes was what made nikkas mad more than anything. Flirting n shyt "ooh your hair nice you must be mixed with something!" And young nikkas in the cut like

Tl;Dr it's hard to empathize with something like that if you've never been through it but ambiguously raced people deal with bullshyt FROM THEIR OWN PEOPLE literally from the moment they breathe air to the day they die. It's one thing if everybody else hates you, but then when it seems like your own people are rejecting you for no other reason than because you have lighter skin it's like :to:. It can be confusing and depressing, possibly resulting in a life-long identity crisis.

Be mean and hateful to brehs because you don't respect them as a breh , then be mean and hateful because said brehs don't want to be a breh, brehs

Tiger hasn't done anything to help African Americans specifically, so fukk him

even the coli's favorite :mjpls: has done more to help black people, check the stats..

Scoop: MJ's contribution larger than perceived

"Michael's willingness to hire, support and promote minority leaders throughout his business ventures has been remarkable," Larry Miller, president of the Jordan Brand said in defense of the perception that the depths of Jordan's contribution to "the struggle" goes no further than that of a glorified pitchman. "He has always been focused on creating successful and sustainable businesses and has empowered minority leaders, including myself, with the opportunity to grow and advance those businesses."
