It's the World Juniors breh. These are literally the best u20 runners in the world.

There are only 6 times under 52 seconds by a u20 runner this year, and Hima Das has 4 of them. The other two are Taylor Manson and Sydney McLaughlin. McLaughlin had some sort of quad issue in her last race and didn't run in Finland, while Manson is the girl who was running ahead at first but finished 3rd.

Hima Das's PR would have been 7th in the 2016 Olympics, and she's an 18yo who's only worn cleats for two years. She's legit fast.

She fast. :whew:

Is there a difference between intersex and transex? What does intersex mean?

INTERSEX ARE BORN WITH MALE AND FEMALE "PARTS".

A TRANNY IS JUST A nikka WHO WANTS TO BE A WOMAN.

SO ITS OBVIOUS WHY INTERSEX "WOMEN"
WOULD HAVE AN ADVANTAGE OVER REGULAR WOMEN.

I named for you literally every woman from anywhere in the world who ran under 52 seconds in the 400m this year. Every one.

I already told you her PR would have been 7th in the 2016 Olympics. But I guess you know all sorts of beasts who didn't make it there either?

You mean they finally started caring and found one. Physical attributes and abilities won't ever matter if you don't need to use them.:manny:

Yeah. Googles show they've produced a few other athletes, but they are rare. They actually have pretty good spread over a lot of track events, but mostly just making finals - only one World Championship medal and a few 4th place Olympic finishes.

Yeah, you could also look at Wayde van Niekerk ... his mom was an athlete who was unable to compete when South Africa was banned from the Olympics back in the day

and she looks to me like an average Indian descended woman from T&T or Guyana. :manny:

I think if they gave it a decent try, they could probably produce some decent results.

India is ranked number two in the world in cricket and they’ve consistently produced some of the best players in the sport for decades. They have insane focus on athletics, just not on sports most people on here would care about.

They do NOT have an insane focus on athletics. Their complete lack of focus on athletics is legendary. Parents in India just don't consider sports to be a valid pursuit at all. They have no healthy sports associations outside of cricket, and their Olympic Committee got banned for corruption in 2012. There's been noise there about trying to build up an athletic sport in India so kids get in better shape, but nothing is really happening right now (there are wrestling, boxing, soccer, and field hockey subcultures, but only a tiny minority of kids play any of those).

Think about it...this kid is a generational talent, and they didn't even have her in cleats or on an artificial track surface ever until two years ago?

This was covered in a thread last year, I'll copy-and-paste.

The Plight of Sports Culture in India

Building a sports culture in India

Why is India so bad at sport?

How to start a sports culture in India

Even cricket seriously struggled until 10 years ago. It used to be that if you weren't elite tier skilled and guaranteed a future spot playing for the national team, you wouldn't have a viable career financially and so you'd work a regular job five days a week and be an amateur/semi-pro athlete. Also if you weren't from one of the four or five major cities, you could forget about a cricket career because there was no funding, facilities, coaching or scouting going on in rural areas where the majority of India's population lives. So even though some great cricketers came out of the country over the past 100 years, it wasn't until 10 years ago that the team consistently became one of the best in the world.

Every other sport is where cricket was a decade ago, possibly even worse off, where only generational talents from the right place with the right socioeconomic background is going to make it.

Field hockey is a weird one, India and Pakistan used to absolutely dominate hockey at the summer Olympics like Ethiopia and Kenya dominate distance running, something like 10 gold medal matches in a row. Then it just fell off in the '80' as the western countries professionalised their hockey programs and India failed to keep up structurally.
