Tru Life kept mentioning how he didn't like NY rappers promoting gang banging (Jim Jones) around the time he had that New New York joint out and when he got signed to Roc La whatever the fukk that subsection label was..an easy battery in the back since he had his own problems with Jim and Jim would throw shots constantly at Jay so he rode for his new team AND they had history.

Tru Life wasn't even beefing with Cam like that until Cam sent JR Writer after him and called him Little Jim plus dissing Tru's new boss "a camel on a camel".. when he and Jim werent even seeing eye to eye at the time yet went to bat for him and during the 50 beef... shyt Cam was doing business with Jojo Capone which put Jim's nose out of joint because i was Jojo who used to protect Jim w/ Tru Life before Jim stopped fukkin with them and Cam ended up getting his eye blackened because of it.

I was under the impression it stemmed from Jim's issues with Jo Jo Capone. Tru was up under JoJo and his Global Gangstas movement so when the Jim Beef popped off Tru sided with Jo. Jay just came in and after the fact when the beef was already on. Supposedly Tru had a claus in his contract that if DejJam didn't put his album out by a certain time, they had to pay him. The time came and went and he (supposedly) got 800k cash. Then he caught that murder charge...
