Its a dirty game but thats on him for playin itMy thing is R Kelly has been accused of messing around with underaged girls since I was a toddler and people knew about it and still bumped his music. He got arrested for filming a sex tape with Sparkle's niece and people still were bumping his music with no problem.
I remember watching the 2003 Bet Awards and he got a standing ovation from the audience and this was during the height of his trial. But now all of a sudden because of a documentary that not even 1% of the United States population watched now they want to do something. He should have been in jail a long time ago, but because he was putting out good music no one cared what he was doing.
Now that he's older and he doesn't have the money he used to have now all of a sudden people who knew what he was doing are now coming out and admitting they knew what he was doing, and they should be jail as well.
And then you have other musicians who had no problem working with him the last time he was on trial, now not wanting to work with him, not because they want his alleged victims to get justice , but because they are worried about losing money or being cancelled.
I never understood that line. So he draws the line specifically at 17 year olds but everyone else is fair game?I guess people enjoy disregarding the "18 and over, 16 or under" line.
