Mike Sweetney when he was with the C's was the fattest nikka I can remember seeing on an NBA court. Not sure if he ever made the official roster, but he was on the preseason team multiple years. This nikka was actually skilled and had good footwork in the post lol.

Greatly undersized, though.

Some of y'all kids wasn't alive when he was in the league, but he was decent when He played with Charles Barkley, Kevin Johnson, Thunder Dan and Richard Dumas for the Suns
Cant forget Ainge, Ceballos and Big Tom Chambers. fukk Mark West, he was tridash

If Miller stayed in shape and Richard stayed off that powdah MJ might've been 5-1 or at the very least played in one Game 7 finals.

Hell Richard Jefferson in his prime was a powder free Dumas

nikkas might be right who say the league is tougher today, because no one would sniff the league looking like this
2 things..

1.) Oliver Miller was a beast when he entered the league. Now not literally but he was like one of the first people to get fat while in the league (that I can remember)

2.) You don't seem to really have a understanding of how basketball was played before todays version. It featured BIG MEN. And the average big man could do most of what you see from Embiid today :yeshrug:

To the nay sayers, Rik Smitts wasn't doing everything Embiid is doing :usure: IF he was encouraged to shoot 3's he would have shot more, but his jumper was automatic. Avi Sabonis from Portland.. he was equally as capable.
My point is even bummy ass Oliver Miller would be better or equal to a lot of players in the league today. Amir Johnson comes to mind :francis:

Y'all laughing at fat nikkas playing ball, I'm out here impressed as fukk. My lungs would be on the floor playing 20 min of pick up ball at your local ymca :deadrose:.

Robert Traylor (rip) was another chubby dude that played. Breh was strong in his early days though. I wonder how all these cats look like after their playing days.

I think dudley is worse and can't do much of anything and isn't 7 ft

His ankles are praying to Allah while his shoe stands firm with Israel:hhh:

both of them was elite 3 point shooters. Miller wouldn’t make it in today league, fat boy would get ran around so much screens he would have a heart attack

WHY DIDNT HAKEEM MAKE IT
THE 6 TIMES THE BULLS MADE THE FINALS?

6 TIMES IS A LOT OF OPPORTUNITIES
TO MATCH UP IN THE FINALS.

Crispness
All you had to be was 7 ft or better back then.
GMs would be like Vince McMahon when he see a man with muscles.

He wasn't 7'0, doe.

Anyway - Ollie had a long wingspan, he could block like a muffucca...if he could get in position.

People forget this was the 90s...not this small ball/fast past stuff we got goin on nowadays. Of course he wouldn't have been able to play in todays league...but it goes both ways...cats like Draymond and Julius Randle wouldn't be centers in 90s. Oliver Miller was a damn good Center til he ate himself out the NBA...he still played professional basketball for almost 30 years. Pretty easy to see why he played in the NBA.
  • He had a wingspan of like 7'6
  • Great on defense
  • Good rebounder
  • Excellent passer
  • Above average post moves
  • Strong as all hell
