There has to be such a component based on your definition of dominant i.e. "Dominant as in those who run the planet at the moment." Further, you are pretending as if all men run the planet; only a small subset of men can be described in such a manner. Are you talking in a physical/athletic sense? Because that's probably as far as it goes in regards to dominant.

In any arena of life...the one that puts in the most work isn't the most dominant...except when it comes to men and women...for some reason men think because they do the most they dominate.

Men for some odd reason, thought a woman's inactivity made her subordinate to men. When in reality she just didn't need to do anything because the man was doing it for her.

And you can see a male's insecurity regarding female power because men always were like...

Patriarchal religions created patriarchal cultures that designate the paternal bloodlines as the successors and inheritors. Physical strength tends to dominate across cultures, between races etc (whoever has the weapons makes the rules), so men became more powerful especially in the past when cultures dominated through war and aggression and military.

The difference is race is asocial construct made in the past few hundred years. Before that, there were no such thing as race. Collectively men have been leaders of all societis for all of human history. There are no matriarchal societiesin recorded human history
