How did Matt Hardy, Lita, and Edge go through with that storyline?

I watched this podcast last night where Matt detailed the whole story, starting with when he first felt like something was wrong. I'm just wondering how all three of them were able to deal with that storyline when things were still fresh.

I guess on one hand, the company had no choice but to address it since people found out online, but that was some intense, personal shyt. Like when Edge cut that promo on Matt, calling him out for not marrying Lita. How much of this storyline was just them shooting? And when were they able to move past it?

Funny thing is I listened to this shoot not too long ago and was gonna make a thread about how hearing the whole story is not how I thought it went down and changed the way I viewed Edge.

I thought Edge was really blowing Lita's back out behind Matt's back and was like "damn, Edge is that dude "

Come to now find out they only kissed and Edge was blowing up Lita's phone leaving her types of messages talking about "I love you so much" while he has a wife at home fukking simp

Also made it clear that he wasn't the cause of their breakup, and after listening to what Lita said about the situation just confirmed that. He just happened to catch her at her weakest point and capitalized on it. He put the nail in the coffin, but Edge or no Edge, Lita and Matt's relationship was ultimately bound to fail
