My wife is Mexican. Mark me as a "c00n" or whatever, I don't care. You can even say that I'm "caping". I'm not ashamed at all. My In-Laws and her family show me and my son (my wife's and I child) nothing but love. They are a traditional Mexican family. Her parents don't even speak English (I speak Spanish, though). If I was ever even down on hard times or needed something, I know for a fact that they would look out for me. When they introduce me to other people, they proudly announce me as their son-in-law. I've been to parts of Mexico that make Chicago look like Disneyland (my wife is from Ciudad Juarez). Still nothing but love. Parties, fiestas, whatever, I'm in the cut chopping it up drinking Coronas, Bud Light and Tecate with everyone else. I can only speak for myself. I see dudes like myself with Mexican women all of the time. Idk about their situations, but mine is good. My family accepts and loves my wife the same way. I've noticed that it's other countries/cultures like Dominicans, and Puerto Ricans where colorism is more prevelant. They want to be anything but Black. Colombians, Venezuelans, and Cubans aren't really like that (from what I've experienced). Call me a "c00n" or mark me, doesn't phase me one bit. I'm still Black at the end of the day.
