How did James Brown make so many albums?

Alot of those albums back in the day were very short, but that doesn't take away from the work him and his band put it. All of the music was rehearsed and then recorded unlike today.

He was a musician, not a gangster or hood rat using the studio as an ATM or platform for self promotion. He had actual talent and got the most out of it.
It's funny you say this cause James brown was without a doubt a hood dude.
He just happened to make dope music.


I wonder how y'all would feel about legends like Armstrong if y'all knew where they came from. :dead:

I'm not taking anything away from James Brown and his tremendous talent.

But it was a different time back then. Artists these days might make 30 songs for their album, but only 12 of them make the album. The rest might never see the light of day.

Back then I think they put most of whatever they recorded on albums.

Nah most artists been thinking quality over quantity ever since SGT Pepper was recorded...
