How did Fox screw up Doom (again) in the recent F4?

I'm watching the flick and up until the debut with Doom I thought it was a decent flick. Sure I have some minor complaints, but the movie was tolerable. I saw it as an Elseworlds take on the characters so maybe that's why I thought it was all right.

As for Doom his whole appearance is :scust: and giving him telekinetic powers, something he has never had from what I've read in the books, was :camby:

Even the actor was a bad pick. The way he did the character of Doom was :trash:

Honestly I think the Doom from the first flick was/is better. You would think Fox would smarten up after the feedback from that version.

No one wanna discuss? :ld:

Yeah, this shyt is comic books, I don't understand the need for these filmmakers to keep putting their own spin on a character, especially with their classic costumes. If the shyt looks wack in real life wardrobe, then fukk it, just give me a fully CGI Dr. Doom, as long as he looks like he does in the comics.

I enjoyed the movie a lot personally. It wasn't amazing or anything, but it didn't deserve all of the vitriol that it got.

I actually liked it more than Age Of Ultron.

I haven't watched this one...what I've heard don't sound good. How do you mess up the Top Villain in Marvel? What's the BEEF? Give this nygga his own country, an army of robots, let him outplot everyone, and lose only by his own arrogance. How is that hard? I think in the first one they had him pining over Sue Richards? Why would a man like Doom want to fukk her when he's a billionaire and lives easy? It just didn't make any sense:laugh:

Honestly, the Dr. Doom was the only problem I had with Fox's first stab at Fantastic Four.

His powers in the film are actually much closer to his traditional powers in the comics. Its not telekinesis its molecular control. He is manipulating rocks and molecules the entire movie. He has it in all of his appearances in the games also... its a classic doom ability actually, so that part is legit.

Not justifying the flick or anything else, but his powers are closer to accurate than any version so far. Most of what is accredited to him is not him at all but the suit, and in this movie he isn't wearing the doom suit he built... so the missles and beams and stuff u are used to seeing are missing cause they come from the suit. But molecular conttol/manipulation is one of his goto abilities. That, magic, and time travel mostly. Well, and tricking and intimidating people. Those are his bread & butter.

I didn't really dislike it either. I thought the science in it was very poorly done... almost stupid. But, if you just look at it as a movie its average enough, not terrible.

I didn't like the look of the Thing. I thought he looked funny.

Wasn't a good movie, but I sat through the whole thing. So eh. :ehh:

Doom isn't Molecule Man. He's a sorcerer.

I actually kinda fukk with it too. Like, I have no real explanation as to why. I just kinda "like" it. People think I'm insane when I say that, but yeah.
