It is sound science. :dwillhuh: That’s the beauty of science - you can’t dismiss it just because its results don’t align with your beliefs. And again, the scientific method is significantly better than “it’s true because this book says it’s true”.

Furthermore, in addition to radiometric dating there are other methods that enable us to approximate the age of our solar system and the universe. Are you going to dismiss those as well cause they don’t align with your opinions?

That’s…the same thing. Simple arithmetic allows you to add up the “generations of man”. Again, if you were familiar with the Bible you’d know that the names and years lived are written in explicit detail.
nah this is what you dont understand because its clear you dont practice science

not all science is the same and two science is not about regurgitating ideas over and over, its testing ideas against other ideas (however many time necessary)

any science can be dismissed if you use the same testing criteria against it and it fails

and yes i will dismiss the age of the solar system claims because once again, they are measuring the time of solar system now against what exactly to make inferences on the past?

Yes you can easily add up the "generations of man" but as I said before, God may see the generations of man multiplied however many times he has seen it

and he said to Abraham: "Look up and count the stars if you can, so will your seed be multiplied on the earth"

so how many times has God multipled Abraham's seed (consider it as his story told from his position)?
