Was it tales because I'm black? Is your mom baldheaded?
this post made me cry tears of hairstylist joy!!!! gorgeous head of hair lady :salute:

Girl no you don't. Come get with the paid ass white guy movement. They don't even know what edges are. Black men are way too invested in what black women do with their hair.
:dead: sistas like Keynadoll gon learn eventually... esp with you on a mission in here girl... come on over ladies ...come on over.... :heh: :mjpls:

Lol...and to think I was going to post a hair pic too...

But how long have you been flat ironing and trimming your own edges? Also how often do you trim? I want to learn:(

I notice your avi pics and you have great hair (beautiful). Since I went natural (6 years), I've been the only person to flatiron and trim my hair. I trim .5 to 1 inch every 2 to 3 months depending on how my ends look. One year, I went a whole year without flatironing and trimming; my ends were a mess.

there are some good brothas out here...you know? :damn:

the white man isnt necessarily the answer. :birdman:

consider the crowd here for instance. most of these cats are young and immature...this isnt a very good cross-section of brothas here to use as an example of black men......:mjpls:

my wife is my queen. and i treat her as such. :usure:

teach your sisterhood haircare before they fukk up their daughters generation

@KenyaDoll needs to open a school :whew:

lol. I actually created a natural hair group in my town. We meet once a month and we have a Facebook group where we discuss how to care for our hair. In addition to learning how to style their hair, during each meeting, we (the co-creator) also teach the ladies how to make their own products and the science behind our hair. There are more than 50 women in the group, and this does not include any of the undergradutes who have their own group.

Ugh fukc it..I'll throw up two blurred...but thanks love

But the hair dressers are killing me here they actually charge more because I've never had a perm or relaxer and for my length...its like $65+for natural long hair and $15 for a trim for the master stylist...and with a deep condition I'm paying about $90 excluding the tip for my hair...I would be comfy doing my own hair but I can't get it to look as nice as yours when I do it myself...I guess I need to practice...I get my hair trimmed every few months but some hair stylist try to trim it like ever 6 weeks you don't feel that's excessive? Especially since my hair is very heal th y..and these heffas are scissor happy out here ...my last trim ended up being a hair cut
