How come the general public believes Mike Tyson is better than Lenox Lewis and Evander Holyfield

In his career he only had 2 losses and a draw - he came back from and beat both in indisputable fashion. He got beat by Mcall early in his career, came back, and went on to defeat champions. He cannot be denied. He DESTROYED both Holyfield and Rahman in the rematches.

Like seriously no one ranks above him in that era. In his prime he was untouchable, who do you even rank above him. Dude is GOAT until proven otherwise.

Listen to the man himself

Disagree on him destroying Holyfield in the rematch. Most thought the 37 yr old Holyfield won the 2nd fight while Lewis should’ve won the first. As far as Rahman goes he was a decent puncher but he landed flush right hands on the likes of Holyfield, Maskaev, Toney, Ruiz, Al Cole etc. without them even getting wobbly. Lewis is the only world class HW Rahman ever knocked out. Let’s not forget getting outboxed by Bruno,Mercer.. also he wasnt a take all comers champion.. he was stripped for refusing to fight mandatories..

Nothing in your post describes a GOAT.. you cant even make up your mind if you're talking the best of All Time or the best of his era.. You cant use words like untouchable or unbeatable when describing Lenox Lewis, a man that needed 2 fights to beat Oliver McCall and Hassim Rahman during his so called reign

GOAT =/= having a perfect record. With those two losses he adapted, came back stronger, and demolished both boxers. We can agree to disagree, but his size and technique alone put him above all the dudes in his era in his prime.

"His era" is the key words in your post... when you call him the GOAT you're claiming he is the best in every era not just his era.. Then you claimed he was unbeatable and untouchable which is an even more ridiculous statement.. those are my only issues

Timing is also tricky. Lewis peaked late after he added wrinkles to his game. Tyson peaked early.

Manny Steward. Those giant tall 6'6 and up fighters should have a statute of Manny in there homes that they bow to every morning. They would be lost without him.

Super tall HW fighters never dominated until Manny gave them the blue print. Mike would have destroyed them. But when Manny gave them(Klitch bros,Lewis,Etc) that boring "Jab n Grab" style that neutralized Tyson(and David Tua types). Even "Prime Tyson"(with Cus) would have had fits dealing with that style with Manny in the corner.

See back when Klits and Lewis were younger they were more offensive and took more chances but they had avg chins(Except Vitali). The more offensive you are the more that leaves you open to get countered and KO'ed.

This is false.. they were set to fight then Lewis got KTFO by McCall
And to add Tyson actually offered Lewis and his team a date in July of 96 and a guarantee of 14mil.. the highest purse ever for Lewis at that point which they turned down.. they were then offered 15 mil which they again turned down with Frank Maloney reasoning being they wanted to put the fight on themselves and could offer Tyson 50mil which Tyson was right to balk figuring Lewis was pricing himself out and wasn’t serious so Tyson set his sights on Seldon then Holyfield. Lewis sued where it came out that he couldn’t even get the fight because he was tied to HBO and Tyson to Showtime.. Lewis would’ve needed one of three inter promotional contracts to allow the fight to happen and HBO wasn’t willing to give him one, until a few years later when the fight was actually made. The step aside money was from lost wages which Lewis happily accepted with a date in March of 97 if Tyson got past Holyfield. No one ducked Lewis esp in this time frame where he was outboxed by Mercer and dropped by McCall.

veering OT a little bit but I always felt like Graziano had more popularity than Zale despite losing the trilogy and Zale having better wins on his resume.

Like Tyson, Graziano had the more compelling life story :manny:

Lennox has no heart

He's scared to get hit

Fights like a coward

Prime Mike would of killed Lewis

Prime Mike ain't want it with the commander tho

And lewis would of never beat a prime Evander

Mitch blood green gave Mike problems

And all yall calling mike a c00n

:gucci:

Foh

Also Holyfield had wars before he had his fights with Lennox and Mike

None of them had wars

None of them fought dokes, Ray Mercer, even the old foreman.

Holy field came up from cruiserweight beating heavyweights.
