@ReturnOfJudah nikka, those Straight Kush blend mixtapes :wow:

Then their mixes on either 103.3 or 107.9 at the time nightly would be Straight FIE.
nikka .. I use to be geeking listening to the radio when i use to visit Atlanta. I couldn't believe nikkas could hear this shyt for free :damn:. If i grew up in Atlanta i would have been recording all them radio blends and banging that shyt later lol

Some of those blends I heard on da radio back then I only ever heard once & never again. And a lot of those blend tapes and mixtapes from Oomp Camp are SUPER hard to come across.

other than that, the last time the Mansfields were mentioned in LA rap was when Big Sad was rapping about them,Marvin, the BYs and PBs.

there is some story about Terrance Howard being from Mansfield at one point in time
Wasn’t the father and son that killed pnb rock from there?

Lowkey I think a lot of people. But first come to mind would be Drake and J Cole.

Its tuff cause his life was cut short.

But he was gonna cross over easily.

I think a lot of artists were paying attention to what he was doing but just don't show love or site him as an influence.

Was there anyone else at the time in ATL who was doing what he was doing? Cause he was rapping rapping and had the melodic hooks down easy.

His content was versatile 2.

Dolla wasn't the first, same shyt kinda happened to max B. Until everyone already got rich who he influenced; and they knew he was never coming home....then they wanna give props.

Minus wiz and currency they showed love early and stayed repping.

I keep tryna give Cole chanceds off the strength Hov held us down for so many summers:why:.....I don't like this song, always thought Tboz shoulda been doin alotta hooks for nikkas in her prime cuz she got that trademark voice....but it sure don't sound like it used to,u sure this wuznt just Chilli azz.?......Dude really started off like he felt sum kinda way about his teeth....I never even heard teeth jokes about em,Fab had his messed up teeth for decades now ,u don't see him making songs about it,be deeper than that Cole:ufdup:....and am I reachin or do Cole sound a lot like Dolla?he dead now if u wuz wonderin but if you like J Cole u should check sum of his shyt
....Cole a little better lyrically, but being that he's not mindblowing he could use sum of Dollas characteristics imo
....both Pac stans:salute:

I definitely said Cole sounded like him back in 2013:salute:

And I was a fan and forgot about him myself, the game goes on:francis:

He never quite reached that gone but not forgotten level for me. But im glad you made this thread because im running some stuff back now lol.
