It’s crazy but over the past year bounce has blown up and a lot people don’t know cause it has been sharked so hard

Shawty was the one who started “for the d” stuff and it blew up into a challenge around the world without here getting credit

This song isn’t really bounce but young thug just sharked the whole idea from her lol

The lauryn hill sample drake used on “nice for what” is a pretty much a straight rip off bounce song that gets played every night in the clubs

Is the song drake used to sample magnolia shorty(rip) on “in my feelings” and it’s another song that pretty much gets played night in clubs

These the biggest 2 bounce artist in the city and they finally stopped beefing so I hope they can come together and make moves together.

:wow: Bounce has finally gotten out of the hands of the gay dudes and back into the hands of black women and the city can imbrace a lil more now

bounce music contained a lot of sampling...

I remember hearing this old school bounce song that sampled Anita Baker....

That shyt had no chance of getting cleared....

In saying that, bounce elements were essential in Atlanta's takeover when lil jon was on fire

3-6 mafia has used bounce elements as well...

Mannie Fresh was able to make bounce music more musical and that's what took Cash Money to the next level

When folks give a lot of credit to 3-6 mafia for their influence they neglect to include the influence of Bounce on 3-6.....and if you go back further the triggerman beat heavily influences bounce

man i been looking for a Partners and Crime song for almost a decade.......

I never knew the name of the song......but i know for a fact its a Lionel Richie remake

Lionel Richie has the song called "Fiesta"......im not sure if this song is a Kangol Slim Solo or not
but he starts off by calling wards in similar "New Orleans" ward order.......

"We going to the .....3 rd Ward", the 4 Ward" the 5th Ward"
"we going to the all over"........we going to the 6th ward, the 7th Ward the 8th Ward"
"we going all over"......Melpomene, the Calliope, the St Thomas.......Its Kangol Slim singing that part......

Triggaman is bounce music tho. It’s no debate about that. Dudes who made the triggaman song actually got honored down here a couple times

The Ummah!
One thing I like about drake is that he does push boundaries sonically and finds ways to incorporate new sounds in mainstream America (for better or for worse)

What he should do is to sign an artist from one of these cities who makes the music that he likes, instead he just steals the entire sound for himself.
