You're talking about team buster level threats. In those types of battles it's his strategy that makes the difference. No one else is handling Apocalypse in their mind and walking away from it.

Exodus took his wife hostage in Bloodties..didnt do nothing...Sinister has screwed over him, Jean, Cable, Madelyne...did nothing. Cant stop Magneto or Apocalypse..cant outplot them either...
