Personally i know living conditions in China are not good but lets not swallow every ounce of the coolaid that the media tries to pour down our throats (nohomo).
When it comes to the following countries:
- China
- Venezuela
- Columbia
- Haiti
- Mexico
- North Korea
- Cuba
- Vietnam
- Russia
- Most African Countries
I tend to take the "believe non of what you hear and what of what you see" approach because of the way the media tries to portray them in a negative light whenever possible.
Cuba for example is shytted on by the media and they try to tell you how horrible things are there BUT the truth is many students from all over the Caribbean and south and Central America travel to Cuba to universities there FOR FREE. I was on a project in the Bahamas working with some VOIP engineers there. One night me and the lead engineer were hanging out having a beer after work and i asked him where he went to school expecting to hear either Bahamas or USA.
Dude said Cuba and i was like
Little did I know THousands of students from all over the Caribbean and other parts of the Americas and EVEN THE USA (I know 2 from the US) travel to Cuba and get a free education. THe governemt there gives them free room and board and pocket money. Yeah shyt is not as good as it could be there but despite that embargo the US levied against it for the past 60+ years it still manages. But listening to the media you'd think Cuba is hell on earth.
What you hear in the news and what you get when you meet the people and get their point of view of things is totally different. If i didnt get the opportunity to work with these guys from China on that Huawei project I probably would have been buying everything the media's selling too.
Come on bruh, dont try to hit us with that blanket ass statement. Most educated people know that North Korea is fukked up, i mean you have more than enough escaped North Koreans around who can tell you that for themselves. The stories you hear from people who have lived there are horrifying.
Cuba doesn't get shat on like you saying. In fact i know plenty of people who have been there and had a good time. Just because you see some stupid story on Fox News doesnt mean we all feel like that.
China is also a shytty place to live unless you making major money. Suicide nets? Working facilities that need armed guards to keep people in? Taking kids away to live in sports camps from age 5 until they are adults? I went to school with plenty of Chinese students and they were the first to say things were jacked up. Plenty said they plan on never going back if they can help it.
What did all those dudes post that got them deleted

There are countries across the world where living conditions and 10 times worst atrocities take place that you NEVER hear of. These countries are all part of the Nato's sh!t list so they get even more run from the media. I'm not saying sh!t is all good. But the media always tries to paint them in the worst light possible.
Like Chavez for example in Venezuela. Dude is highly respected among his South American peers. But if you only watch the news in the U.S. you'd think he's an evil dictator who's out to eat his neighbors alive.
In the meantime Costa Rica (a country without any military) is constantly under aggression from it's neighbor Nicaragua over a dispute for a piece of land for the past 3 years but tell me when was the last time you heard about it on the news?
How do i know? I speak to the locals. I watch their news.
