Sorry for your loss OP. My condolences to you and your family. 
It's been 3 weeks since my 20 y/o cousin was killed over a "beef" and it's still hard to comprehend. It's ridiculous how easily they take lives without a care in the world.

I feel like a horrible brother for not leading him to a better life
my cus killed his friend recently after a night of drinking together and an abrupt fight over a game of cards they were playing
hes never been in a fight before, clean record, no priors.. it just happened. shocked my whole extended family
even shocked his friends family (family of the deceased), they pleaded with prosecutor for him to not be charged with 1rst degree because they knew him to be a good person
hes out right now on bond awaiting trial
maybe sometimes its just a matter of fate with no explanation

that’s a pain I haven’t had to deal w/ fortunately as far as losing a sibling or a cuz’n I grew up w/...I wouldn’t handle it well @ all
